Challenge
To coincide with the launch of their GoodHome brand, B&Q redesigned their Bathroom Brochure to feature lifestyle project stories for each section with a selection of product available. For the first time the brochure didn’t contain a comprehensive product listing. Store and customer feedback indicated a requirement for a full product guide, which had never been done before. Pilot were asked to resolve this within a really tight timescale and budget
Solution
We analysed the full product range, what information was required, sourcing imagery and product detail, working closely with product managers. In addition we assessed the most cost effective format and forest-friendly materials for print production. We finalised the Product Guide as a comprehensive range guide that fitted into the sales team aprons
Result
It solved the problem for store colleagues – at first it was produced just for them, then rolled out as a customer information guide and was later incorporated into future brochures
